Has anybody successfully reinstalled Hunter WinAlign software for their Hunter alignment machine?
I have a Hunter P411 alignment machine which is run by a somewhat normal Windows 95 computer. Trouble is, the Win95 startup files got corrupted somehow and now I'm supposed to reinstall the operating system to fix it. Free ford radio code generator v series. I'm worried that once I do that the system files for the Winalign software will disappear. I do have some disks and a CD which may or may not be the entire installation. It was preinstalled when I purchased it. I have another PC that has the same specs from a simliar alignment machine and already has the Winalign software on it and I tried swapping it but it stops with an error saying some Hunter Keys are not authorized (whatever that means). Anybody out there that can give me some ideas?
Hunter alignment machine question for shop pros
I've obtained an older used Hunter P411 alignment machine running WinAlign 5.2 software and DSP250 heads. I'm looking to use it for custom alignments on my personal vehicles and friends/family. I am currently trying to set it up for use on a car on the garage floor with no lift. I have the heads installed, switched on and cables connected. Each head has the green LED lit and the machine is on the compensation screen showing each sensor and 'sensor requires compensation' beside it.
Hunter P411 Software Update
I can NOT get the heads to compensate or react. The guy I got the machine from said to level the head and lock the arm, press the center button and wait for the red LED to flash, then unlock the head, jack that wheel up and turn it 1/3 of a rotation. Then press the button again, turn 1/3, press button again, turn 1/3, and the machine would accept the calibration.
Well I've tried that several times plus variations thereof and the machine does not react at all. The red LED flashes after the first button press. Then nothing else happens. I can turn the wheel in either direction by any amount, but the green LED never lights up and the machine screen never changes.
Any advice?
